We seek to provide best-in-class Clinical Pastoral Education and board certification for chaplains to the highest industry standard for individuals and organizations dedicated to the spiritual and emotional wholeness of others.
We envision humankind and the world bettered by social environments and interpersonal relationships hospitable to a spiritual dimension and friendly to interfaith diversity.
Our values are singularly focused on the Glory of God. Everything we do as chaplains is anchored in the desire to praise Him by providing spiritual and emotional care and healing with superior Character, Competency and Compassion.
We believe individual happiness, health and wholeness cannot be separated from the spiritual dimension, and the same holds true of our communities and institutions. Central to honorable living and healthy spirituality are character, competence and compassion.
Our primary purpose at World Spiritual Health Organization is to please God. We began this organization with the understanding “except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it” (Psalms 127:1). We, therefore, commit to manage it in like manner by always seeking His blessing and guidance.
We believe “the only work that will ultimately bring any good to any of us is the work of contributing to the healing of the world” (Marianne Williamson).
While we freely acknowledge our imperfections as individuals and chaplains, we continually strive to improve. Our continual pursuit is one of excellence in our training and ministry.
WSHO has trained and certified chaplains from a diversity of faith traditions, including a Buddhist Monk, a Jewish Rabbi, a Protestant Female Pastor, and an Indian Catholic Priest.
We are of Christian orientation; yet through our life journey and experiences interacting with peoples representing a vast constellation of religious traditions and spiritual practices, our lives have been enriched and blessed. We welcome in our ranks and training programs people of diverse faith traditions, and we solicit a diversity of interfaith dialogue and collaboration among those who live a life centered in the Divine. We believe religious freedom is an inalienable human right and that all people should be able to worship how, where or what they may choose.
We hope and pray you have a wonderful experience with WSHO, and that it heightens your knowledge, deepens your understanding, and enhances your chaplain or pastoral skills to transform lives…beginning with your own. We invite people everywhere and from all walks of life to join us in actively and courageously welcoming spirituality in both public and private life.
